After we left Tondo, my team moved to Cainta to be with the other girls teams for the last two weeks of ministry. We merged with the team who does youth ministry, and their hosts became ours.

In the mornings we did feedings in nearby neighborhoods as well as at the school, and then our afternoons all looked a bit different. There were a few big groups from other countries staying at the base, lightening up our ministry schedule, so we got creative to fill up our days. We did daily bible studies, hung out with our hosts, worked in the kitchen, and helped out with other tasks around the base. Youth Lab was on Friday nights, which was the main event for our combined teams, so we helped out with Thursday rehearsals as well.

Being in Cainta was honestly such a blessing and so refreshing for my team and I. We had so many fun moments with our hosts and the girls team we joined, and even though I was sad to leave the people in Tondo, the Lord had so much in store for us there. The last few days we were there, we went on so many fun adventures and had sweet time in fellowship with the other teams and hosts. On the last night, we went up on a mountain to watch the sunset and worship.

The next week was PVT (parent vision trip), and I got to spend a week in the Philippines with my parents! There will be a blog coming out shortly about our ministry and time together that week. We now have a week of debrief with the whole squad to process and remember what the Lord has done in our time in the Philippines. And finally, we will head to our last stop: South Africa!
