Wow I can’t believe I’ve only been here for a week. So much has happened, and it feels like I’ve known my squad for months. Living in a tent has definitely been an experience, but honestly it’s not bad!… unless you wake up to rain and all your shoes are soaked 😅

The day starts out with an occasional 7:00 workout, 7:45 personal devo (devotional) and 8:30 breakfast. We then go into worship and have a couple of sessions, each about an hour long, covering topics such as the Gospel, forgiveness, repentance, the Father’s love, etc. Lunch is around 1:00, and then we have a mix of either free time, another session, team building, or squad prayer. Dinner is at 6/6:30 and then we have free time until bed.

Other random activities throughout the day include campus clean-up, bucket laundry (yes… it’s exactly what it sounds like), hammock hangouts, and late night worship or mafia games. My favorite part of the day is the sun coming through the trees early in the morning, shining on all of our tents (see featured picture). The days are long and busy, but a lot of fun!

My praise that is that week 1 was successful, and that I’ve been making a lot of connections with my squad! My prayer request is that I would have discernment for God’s truth.

Thank you again for supporting me, and I’ll see y’all next blog!

In Christ,

Mo 😊
